Heroes & Generals 8000 beta keys sent out

The developers of indie title “Heroes & Generals” have announced that eight thousand beta keys have been sent out to people that opted to participate in the beta from the signup page. Those of whom who have not already activated their beta key were sent a reminder email.  If you have registered for the beta in the past you should cross your fingers and pray that one of those glorious emails have landed in your inbox.

For those who have no idea what Heroes & Generals is, it’s an online persistent game which combines elements of first person shooter and real time strategy. The RTS part takes place on the battlefield overview map where generals use assault teams to attack/defend towns. In terms of the FPS part player use the resources of the assault teams to spawn as separate classes (ie, infantry, recon, tanks, planes) in the battle and proceed to capture/defend points to win the battle.
